History of the TVMCC
The Twin Valleys Motorcycle Club is based in Biloela Qld with the aim of uniting motorcycle riders for the sake of good fellowship,
sportsmanship and co-operation, and thus creating the recognition and friendly feeling of the general public and officials which we claim is
due to all motorcycle riders.
For motor bike enthusiasts in Biloela, the late 1970’s revolved around the ¼ mile track along Valentines Plains Road. On most Sunday
mornings after everyone had their lungs full of petrol and rubber fumes the group would head out to Jambin for the Sunday session and a
gutful of grog. From there (The days before random breath testing) it was a race home via the Chinese Takeaway in the main street Arcade.
Towards the end of 1982, Lindsay Wust (Wusty) and Kevin Dickenson (Dicko) went to Chinchilla and came home with the idea of starting
our own club. At the same time Paul Laing (Blue) who was a member of the Western Chapter of Bikers Ltd, was released from the navy and
had returned home, also began proclaiming the need for our own club. So at the end of 1982 following Wusty’s initial idea it was decided to
start our own club.
On 4th June 1983, a committee was formed and the club had new direction, enthusiasm and a place in Australian Motorcycling. From those
beginnings the club hasn’t looked back.
